उत्तरी राजस्थान में इंदिरा गांधी नहर परियोजना (आई.जी.एन.पी.) जैसे सिंचाई योजनाओं के प्रभाव से पारंपरिक शुष्क और वर्षा-आधारित कृषि पद्धति में भारी बदलाव आया है। सिंचाई की सुविधा से भूमि उपयोग में परिवर्तन हुआ, जिससे कृषि क्षेत्र का विस्तार, नकदी फसलों का उत्पादन, और नई कृषि तकनीकों का प्रयोग बढ़ा। इसने ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को सशक्त किया और सामाजिक संरचना में भी व्यापक परिवर्तन लाए। कृषि से आय बढ़ने पर लोगों की जीवनशैली, आवास, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं और उपभोक्ता व्यवहार में सुधार देखने को मिला। जातिगत व सामाजिक संबंधों में भी लचीलापन आया, और सामाजिक गतिशीलता को बल मिला। बाहरी प्रवासियों का आगमन और नई आर्थिक गतिविधियाँ क्षेत्र की सामाजिक-सांस्कृतिक विविधता को भी प्रभावित कर रही हैं। हालाँकि, इस परिवर्तन के साथ कुछ नकारात्मक प्रभाव भी सामने आए हैं जैसे जल संसाधनों पर दबाव, भूमि क्षरण और पारंपरिक जीवन मूल्यों का क्षय।

वर्तमान अध्ययन का उद्देश्य नादयोग के मानसिक स्वास्थ्य एवं न्यूरो-मानसिक संतुलन पर प्रभाव का अनुभवजन्य विश्लेषण करना है। नादयोग, जो आंतरिक ध्वनि पर आधारित एक ध्यान पद्धति है, प्राचीन योग ग्रंथों में वर्णित है और मानसिक एकाग्रता एवं शांति के लिए महत्वपूर्ण मानी जाती है। इस अध्ययन में 60 प्रतिभागियों को दो समूहों—प्रयोगात्मक एवं नियंत्रण—में विभाजित कर 8 सप्ताह तक नादयोग अभ्यास कराया गया। तनाव, चिंता, नींद की गुणवत्ता एवं ध्यान क्षमता का मूल्यांकन मानकीकृत उपकरणों द्वारा किया गया। परिणामों से स्पष्ट हुआ कि नादयोग का अभ्यास मानसिक तनाव एवं चिंता को कम करता है तथा नींद एवं ध्यान क्षमता में सुधार लाता है।

This paper examines Kantha embroidery as a gendered, spatial, and knowledge-based practice embedded within the rural landscapes of Birbhum district, West Bengal. Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork conducted in the villages of Nanoor, Beluti, Avinashpur, and Lebra, the study explores how women artisans negotiate identity, livelihood, and cultural expression within the constraints of socio-cultural norms and informal economic structures. Situated within the framework of human geography and feminist theory, the research highlights the role of domestic spaces—such as courtyards and verandahs—as sites of both production and agency. Using qualitative methods including in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, participatory mapping, and transect walks, the study captures the lived experiences of women artisans and their engagement with intergenerational knowledge systems. The findings reveal that while Kantha embroidery provides economic support and a sense of autonomy, women’s participation remains shaped by limited mobility, dependence on middlemen, and unequal access to markets and institutional networks. At the same time, the craft serves as a medium for preserving cultural memory, fostering collective learning, and negotiating identity in a rapidly changing socio-economic context. By situating Kantha within broader discussions on informal labour, gendered spaces, and cultural sustainability, the paper contributes to understanding how traditional crafts can address contemporary global challenges related to livelihoods, identity, and inclusive development.

The informal economy plays a crucial role in sustaining urban livelihoods, particularly for marginalized groups such as women street vendors. In Delhi, these women navigate socio-economic constraints, legal ambiguities, and gendered barriers while using street vending as a means of economic survival and empowerment.

Solar thermal energy systems play a significant role in renewable energy utilization by converting solar radiation into thermal energy. However, the intermittent nature of solar radiation creates challenges in maintaining continuous energy supply. Thermal Energy Storage (TES) systems help overcome this limitation by storing excess heat during periods of high solar radiation and releasing it when needed.

This study examines the relationship between academic library service quality, user satisfaction, and user engagement using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research investigates whether user satisfaction mediates the relationship between library service quality and user engagement. Primary data were collected from students, research scholars, and faculty members through a structured questionnaire.
