Khap Panchayat is a very popular system of social administration in the state of Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh and some parts of Rajasthan from the ancient time. Objectives of the study: to understand the khap panchayats and attitude of the people about the khap panchayat and the marriage system. Research methodology: one hundred and twenty respondents from the villages of Ujhana khap were interviewed by using a convenience sampling method. Major findings: Majority of the people agreed that khap panchayats are necessary for the society in creating the feeling of brotherhood in the society. Almost all the respondents agreed that same gotra and same village marriage should be banned by making law. But sometimes the decision taken by the Khap Panchayat is so different from the existing laws that it creates a situation of ambiguity in the society like in same gotra marriage and in cases of honour killing.

One of the main issues today is the drug addiction among young people in the Haryana valley. The same is true for drug addiction treatment. With this essay, an effort has been made to learn more about how much people in the Haryana valley are aware of the problem of addiction, how to address it, and which organisations and agencies are available to help treat or rehabilitate drug users there. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of India launched the Drug De-addiction Programmed (DDAP) in 1988 with the goal of treating SUDs. De-addiction centres (DACs) have been established in government hospitals through the DDAP, with the central government paying a one-time financial grant and the state governments covering ongoing costs. The creation of a "drug abuse monitoring system" to track drug use patterns and user profiles among those seeking treatment in DACs is another important area of work. The results of monitoring and evaluation procedures indicate that the current system of inpatient care and shared accountability between the federal and state governments is only partially successful.

The study analyzes the degree to which various campaign viewpoints are incorporated into Indian social work curricula and assesses how well they prepare students to tackle urgent social issues. It delves deeper into the connections between grassroots initiatives and academic institutions, showcasing successful case studies that show how these partnerships may have a revolutionary effect. Significant obstacles still exist in spite of these encouraging intersections, such as the inability to incorporate real-world campaign experience into academic curricula, the absence of exposure to actual advocacy campaigns for students, and the lack of funding for campaign-based training. In support of a more practice-oriented approach that closes the gap between theoretical understanding and field-based advocacy, this study emphasizes the urgent need for improvements in social work education. This study attempts to offer practical insights for educators, policymakers, and practitioners by conducting stakeholder interviews, a thorough evaluation of the body of existing literature, and an analysis of effective campaign formats. The paper found that the community based models provide localized solutions that due to unchecked funding, lack of trained staff, and lack of integrated policy, the sustenance and scale of such efforts are challenging. Finally, the study concludes by making policy suggestions to build upon collaborative networks, to strengthen capacity building measures, and to adopt inclusive evaluation frameworks for greater impact and equity in service delivery in the long run. This research contributes to the body of evidence regarding evidence based social work practice and informs those policy makers and practitioners who are trying to enhance community resiliency and social justice.

Abstract The library collections in East Midnapur, West Bengal, hold immense historical and cultural significance, representing a rich tapestry of regional history, traditional knowledge, and literary heritage. These collections, however, are under threat due to environmental factors, lack of preservation facilities, and the growing obsolescence of traditional preservation methods. This paper explores the historical and cultural value of these collections, examines the challenges in preserving them, and identifies strategic imperatives for ensuring their longevity. By integrating qualitative and quantitative research methods, including case studies and stakeholder interviews, this study provides actionable recommendations for sustainable preservation practices.

The goal of this article is to determine the variables influencing the adoption of PPPs (public-private partnerships) in the field of education. Design, technique, and strategy this systematic literature analysis looked at 21 articles on PPPs in the education sector using Scopus and the Staples and Niazi (2007) approach. To find research gaps and offer details on important concerns in the cases, content analysis is used. Findings: The research has determined the key success determinants for PPPs in the education sector across 12 nations, exposing implementation issues and differing levels of success. They demonstrate how crucial it is to have well-defined goals, good communication, and strong collaborations between the public and private sectors in order to succeed. Ministry of Tribal Affairs is responsible for looking after the welfare and development of the Scheduled Tribes who are among the most backward sections of the Indian Society. The schemes and programmes of the Ministry are implemented with the help of the State Governments, Union Territory Administrations, Non-governmental Organisations and institutions of the Local-self Government. All the schemes/programmes are focused on three crucial aspects of integrated development of Tribal population namely: infrastructure, community and personality development.
